BTS member Jungkook apologized to his fans after a questionable performance on the Today Show. Earlier this month, the youngest member of BTS released his first solo album, Golden, with the title track Standing Next To You. As part of the promotions for his album, the singer appeared on the North American program this Wednesday (8) . Jungkook prepared three live performances for the show: Standing Next To You, 3D and Seven.

Fans at the venue noticed that the K-pop star had to endure freezing weather to perform the songs live. Despite this difficulty, he gave his best in each of the songs, mesmerizing the audience with his live vocals and stage presence. However, after the show, the BTS artist took to Weverse and apologized for “messing up” the live performance. He added that there was no justification for the failures and that he would do better next time.

The BTS singer’s apology, although sincere, left fans confused. Armys took to social media to express their disagreement, noting how they couldn’t find any part of their live performance that wasn’t good. Some fans were also upset that Jungkook was so hard on himself despite the cold weather being out of his control, which made it harder for him to breathe while singing.

BTS: Jungkook answers question about sex and shocks fans

Jungkook organized virtual listening parties for the Golden album through the Stationhead app on the 5th, 6th and 7th. As always, the events were super fun, and the BTS member interacted a lot with fans. In one of them, Jungkook also answered some unexpected questions, which included a request for a kiss from a fan.

But the most surprising thing was probably when an Army asked the idol: “Active or passive?” Jungkook responded promptly: “Active.” Many fans didn’t imagine that Jungkook would answer such a suggestive question, did they?
