From Thursday to Sunday, the population will have several leisure and cultural options

São Gonçalo completes 132 years of political-administrative emancipation this Thursday (22) and, to celebrate the date, there will be free concerts on six stages throughout the city.

THE Pedrinhas Beachin Boa Vista, will host Pagode das Pedrinhas, an event that will bring together, from Thursday (22) to Sunday (25), popular pagode groups in the city, in addition to the Porto da Pedra samba school drums.

On Thursday (22), the Porto da Pedra drums take the stage, from 2pm to 4pm, and Pagode do Adame, from 5pm to 7pm; on Friday (23), Extrelato, from 2 pm to 4 pm, and Thiago Dá, from 5 pm to 7 pm; on Saturday (24), Duduzin, from 2 pm to 4 pm, and Maycon André, from 5 pm to 7 pm; and on Sunday (25), No Compasso, from 12pm to 2pm, and Calmaê, from 3pm to 5pm. The Yellow DJ will be present in the four days of the event.

At Avenida Jornalista Roberto Marinho (formerly Avenida Maricá), in front of Atacadão, a large stage will receive artists of national renown and highlights from Gonçalo. The event will be promoted by Dual Produções, with sponsorship from Supermarket, Alvo Atacadista, Cerveja Império and Partage Shopping São Gonçalo and institutional support from the City Hall.

On Thursday (22), the shows are by Midian Lima, Gabi Oliveira, Mariana Lopes, Mariana Valadão, Arthur Callazans and Renata Henriques. On Friday (23), Lexa, Tiee, Maycon André and drums from the Porto da Pedra samba school will take the stage, the last three attractions also from São Gonçalo. And, on Saturday, the presentations are by SPC, Papatinho, Chininha, João Gabriel and Calmaê. The gates will open at 17:00.

Close to the city center, the population will be able to check out the attractions of “Música na Praça”, a festival that will bring together children’s shows, dance meetings, musical performances and circus activities in the Estephania de Carvalho Square, in Zé Garoto. On Thursday, the attractions start at 11 am and go until 8 pm, on Friday, from 10 am to 3 pm, on Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm, and on Sunday from 11 am to 8 pm.

A few minutes from Estephânia de Carvalho Square, is the Joaquim Lavoura Cultural CenterLavourão, which will receive dozens of artists from Gonçalves from Thursday to Saturday, from 6 pm to 10 pm, and on Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm.

One of the main and most important cultural manifestations of São Gonçalo will be part of the festival’s program for the first time since its creation. This Thursday, at 18:00, the Battle of the Tank will take place, in Ex-Combatants Squareat Patronato, a special edition of the battle of rhymes that has already revealed many hits of national rap.

O Center of Northeastern Traditions, in Neves, will also not be left out of the party and on Thursday, from 6 pm, the Orquestra Municipal de São Gonçalo presents a special concert for the city’s anniversary. At 20:00, the entertainment is provided by the Forró Trail, with a presentation by Frank Azevedo. On Friday, at 19:00, the music artist Dinei Liandro is responsible for the show. Then, at 10 pm, the group from the Extrelato pagode takes the stage. On Saturday, at 5 pm, the attraction is Bloco Inter de Limão, which will bring lots of good music to the population. And, closing the presentations, on Sunday (25), at 10 am, the party is dedicated to children with children’s recreation and shows from Circo da Alegria. At 2 pm, the duo Aline and Suelen presents a differentiated repertoire of Brazilian music.
