Thanks to AVP Galaxythree concept art from the Alien series, in development at FX, ended up leaking. In them, we can see the Weyland-Yutani spacecraft USCSS Maginot, almost completely destroyed, and on Earth (in a futuristic setting).

According to the website, the crash landing took place in a city controlled by rival company, the Prodigy Corporation.

In this, soldiers appear investigating a large industrial-looking room, where they find Xenomorph eggs. The highlight, however, is the last concept, which features an adult creature attacking.‎

We know that Noah Hawley (Legion, Fargo) has already submitted the scripts for the first season, and filming is expected to begin sometime next year.

According to the official description, the Alien series takes place before the original feature film. It is the franchise’s first story on Earth. Therefore, the iconic protagonist Ripley will not be part of the narrative, or any other character known to the public.

We know that the WETA Digital, responsible for the effects of the trilogy of the O Lord of the Ringswill work on the series, more specifically on the effects of Xenomorphs.

It is worth remembering that, in addition to this series, there is a feature film in development with Fede Alvarezfrom Man in Darkness, directing.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, alvarez had already pitched the idea for this film to Ridley Scott years ago, and that had the franchise creator calling the director late last year, asking if he was still willing to do it.

The launch should happen directly on the streaming service huluas part of planning the 20th Century Studios to release ten original films a year on the platform.
