In the new film, Wahlberg plays Mike, a New Jersey construction worker who still lives in his hometown with his mother. Unexpectedly, he reunites with old flame Roxanne (Berry), but she’s not interested in a romantic reconnection – she’s a secret agent who needs help on her latest mission. Mike soon finds himself on a team of blue-collar spies led by Tom Brennan (JK Simmons).
Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost), Alice Lee (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) It is Jessica De Gouw (Pennyworth) complete the film’s cast. The direction is Julian Farinowho directed 23 episodes of Entouragea series produced by Wahlberg.
The Union is scheduled to premiere on Netflix for August 16th.
