Steven Spielberg just can’t leave dinosaurs alone. The father of the Jurassic Park film franchise returns to his favorite subject on Netflix: in the eight-part documentary series Life on Our Planet, he shows billions of years of evolutionary struggle for survival. Of course, dinosaurs shouldn’t be missing. And star Morgan Freeman (Raid on the Secret Service) is there as the original narrator.

In Life on Our Planet, producer Steven Spielberg examines the conditions of evolution over billions of years. It shows the incredible adaptations and hardships that dinosaurs and other groups of animals had to endure to ensure their continued existence.
The series uses live footage and computer technology to bring past worlds and evolution actors to life. Jurassic Park fans can probably expect a T-Rex duel or two.
