The new reboot of Fantastic Four is certainly one of the most anticipated projects in this new Phase of Marvel Studios, even though fans will need to wait practically another two years, as the film is only scheduled to premiere in May 2025.

Marvel regained the rights to the team after Fox was purchased by Disney in 2019, and after some time of searching, the studio ended up announcing that Fantastic Four will be directed by Matt Shakman, who previously directed series such as WandaVision, game of Thrones It is It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

The film’s script is in the hands of Josh Friedman (Avatar: The Path of Water), which was recently highly praised by the director. And now all fans want to know now is the casting announcements.

And it seems that the first confirmed name, after a long time, is the Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us), who appears to have signed to play Reed Richards after a lot of negotiations due to scheduling.
