According to The Daily Beast, the newest Spider-Verse film, ‘Madame Teia’has just released its trailer, the new film starring Dakota Johnson it generated great repercussion on the Web, but for an unconventional reason.
In the trailer Dakota Johnson plays a woman with clairvoyant abilities, who needs to save other girls with supernatural talents from a villain linked to her mother’s past as a spider researcher.
However, it is this past that is responsible for the silly moment that resonated across the web. “I saw that man before”it says Johnson. “He was in the Amazon with my mother when she was researching spiders, shortly before she died.”
The extremely monotonous and expository way in which Johnson says the phrase, contrasted with how absurd and specific this information is, makes it hilarious.
Johnson She is a great actress and has a very extensive legacy. However, in this film, the way she acts in this scene, extremely tired and apathetic, made the moment extremely funny, generating memes on the web, with several internet users mocking the new film.
