Phenomenon shook the cinema universe in 2023.
Barbie and Oppenheimer debuted in July this year, and anyone who thinks that the Barbenheimer phenomenon has passed is mistaken. After breaking incredible records – even in the midst of the strike – the productions followed opposite paths. Now, the movement will get its own feature film, and the premise is very different from what we could imagine.
With production from Full Moonled by Charles Band (from the Toymaster franchise) and famous for low-budget films, Barbenheimer had its synopsis published in the The Hollywood Reporter recently. Check out:
“Dr. Bambi J Barbenheimer is a brilliant scientist doll who lives in Dolltopia, a world of endless summers and beach parties, with her boyfriend Twink Dollman.
Outraged by the brutal treatment that the dolls receive at the hands of human children, the doctor ventures into the real world, where she experiences the worst of humanity and, naturally, decides to build a giant nuclear bomb to destroy everything.
They are beautiful and have a super attitude! Oh, and now they have a bomb.”
The studio has not yet announced who will direct or write Barbenheimer’s script, but filming for the film is scheduled to begin next year, and Band promises – with the pun intended – an explosive production: “Let’s just say that she [Barbie] he will definitely have a big atomic bomb in his arms.”
