This Thursday (25), The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was finally released for PlayStation 5, ps4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC. However, the new game did not do very well on the well-known review aggregation sites Metacritic and OpenCritic.
As pointed out by the VGC website, the game The Lord of the Rings: Gollum became the title with the worst rating of 2023. These reviews threw a big cold shower on fans who waited anxiously for the game’s release.
On the Metacritic review site, which brings together 296 titles released in 2023, the PS5 version of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum managed the feat of being placed in the last position, with a note of 38, based on 21 critical reviews.
In turn, the PC version of the game reached 43, but the slightly higher score was not enough to surpass any other game in this year’s release ranking. Other versions of the game are not yet included in the Maetacritic ranking.
