By all indications, finally the new film by Fantastic Four has its confirmed writers. The news was announced by Marvel Studios, which is, at the same time, preparing to introduce the iconic family of heroes.

Since the big acquisition of 20th Century Fox, fans of the Fantastic Four have been eager to check out the next production that will involve the group, as well as future works linked to the X-Men, two properties that Marvel Studios ended up being forced to sell when ended up going bankrupt in the past.

But while Marvel Studios is slowly introducing the Mutants into its universe, Fantastic Four fans are freaking out over the lack of detailed information about the upcoming production.

The Fantastic Four was slated to debut at the end of Phase 4, but the project ended up being delayed, in part, due to Covid-19. But the main reason for all this delay was the unexpected departure of director Jon Watts from the production.

With this being one of the biggest IPs in all of Marvel’s history, the studio ended up running into some complications to leave everything the way it needs to be. Due to all these details, the film was planned to appear only in Phase 6, which is scheduled to take place in 2024.

Also, while we’ve seen John Krasinski’s performance recently in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Madness,” this cameo was something more like fan-service than a reboot in itself.

Currently, the news is good for fans of the franchise, because just a month after Matt Shakman was chosen to take over the direction of the reboot from the Fantastic Four, Marvel Studios has found the perfect writers for this big project.

According to some reports made available by Deadline, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer are already in full swing developing the new film, although that’s not all.

according to siteboth writers were already, to some extent, involved with the project even before it became public that Shakman would be responsible for taking the work forward.

In addition, it appears in the available report that Kaplan and Springer were talking directly with Kevin Feige about which part the Fantastic Four would be able to better fit within the MCU. However, after the pronouncement, they are given the opportunity to team up with Shakman to complete the vision.

With such gaps filled, finally, the creative team can now go in search of names to form the cast and bring each of the four Marvel icons to life. Cast that, so far, had not yet been commented on by the studio at the D23 event earlier this month.
