RBA – Premiered this Thursday (22), at 8:30 pm, on YouTube, the documentary they could be seenvos, by Lucas and Gabriel Mesquita, a work that portrays in detail how the handling of the pandemic by President Jair Bolsonaro was tragically responsible for the number of deaths by covid-19 in Brazil.

The launch of the documentary also had in-person previews in three cities: São Paulo (at PUC); Brasília (at the Faculty of Communication of the University of Brasília) and in Vancouver (Canada), at the University of British Columbia. The production is a partnership between Grupo Prerrogativas and the production company Mangueio Filmes. Over the course of 105 minutes, Bolsonaro’s disregard for covid-19 is evident. switching images in loco and interviews, the film didactically clarifies how the president acted so that the country recorded, in official numbers alone, about 685,000 deaths from the coronavirus in less than three years.

In addition to showing how Bolsonaro stood against social distancing and spread a series of lies about vaccines and the pandemic, the film also shows the results of investigations by the CPI on Covid. Among them, malfeasance and corruption in the purchase of vaccines and the obsession with promoting ineffective medicines, such as chloroquine and ivermectin.
