Next Thursday (01), servers and the coordinator of the Ombudsman of TCE-PE, Priscila Monteiro, will participate in the 1st Seminar of Ombudsmen Rede Ouvir PE: Strengthening the Ombudsmen of Pernambuco. The event starts on Wednesday (31) and will be held by the Pernambuco Network of Public and Related Ombudsmen (Rede Ouvir PE), in Serra Talhada.
The Ouvir PE Network has the objective of consolidating the partnership, mutual cooperation and the articulation of efforts between the participants and other bodies and entities that adhere to it, thus strengthening the tool of public transparency, ombudsman and social control. In order to achieve this objective, among some actions in progress, we highlight the holding of seminars, whose specific objective is to disseminate and strengthen the Public Ombudsman in Pernambuco, with emphasis on the creation and consolidation of municipal ombudsmen.
TCE Ombudsman Carlos Neves believes in the Ouvir Network initiatives, through common projects, active searches, use of technology and artificial intelligence, to respond in a simple way to the citizen. The theme to be presented by the TCE servant Priscila Monteiro will be “Strengthening the performance of the Municipal Ombudsmen”, together with the Ombudsman of the Public Ministry of Pernambuco, Selma Barreto. The debate will be mediated by Elisa Andrade, director of the State Ombudsman’s Office.
Priscila will also participate in the lecture “Municipal Ombudsmen: Support in structuring and strengthening”, together with Abelardo Lopes, from the Federal Ombudsman’s Office, and Elisa Andrade. The lectures will be mediated by Douglas Moreno, from the State Legislative Assembly. Through the Ombudsman of the Court of Auditors, servers Luciana Pontes and Antonio Peixoto participate in the event.
