The São Paulo team maintained its invincibility at the Morumbi gymnasium.

Tricolor Basketball defeated Pinheiros 90-81 this Saturday, at Morumbi’s gymnasium, ensuring the team’s unbeaten run at home in the first stage of the state and also the overall lead in the first part of the competition, with a round to spare. The highlights of the match were Tyrone (26 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists), Marquinhos (25 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists) and Bennett (11 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists).

Tricolor says goodbye to the first phase of the competition this Monday, against Corinthians, at 20, at the Wlamir Marques gym. This Saturday, São Paulo started the match with a very different formation compared to the last games. The initial formation was: Tyrone, Marquinhos, Bennett, Ansaloni and Coelho. With the new formation, Tricolor started the game with speed and dictating the rhythm of the game.

The São Paulo team won the first quarter by 24-15. In the second quarter, the team dropped a little in performance and Pinheiro won by 28-19, ending the first half tied at 43-43.

In the second half, the strength and experience of Basketball Tricolor spoke louder. With a collective performance, Tricolor took off and won the third quarter by 25 to 19. In the last part of the game, Bruno Mortari’s team did not let the opponent grow again in the game, they scored 22 to 19 and secured another positive result in House.
