The launch of Antídio Lunelli’s campaign for state deputy and Carlos Chiodini and federal, both from the MDB, took place in style on Friday night, 2, in Jaraguá do Sul.
With an audience of around 1,500 people and the presence of the Senate candidate for the party, Celso Maldaner, Lunelli and Chiodini showed that they have the MDB from the north of Santa Catarina with them.
The double was honored by mayors and councilors from several cities in the state. Speaking, Lunelli highlighted his results as a businessman and mayor of Jaraguá do Sul and reinforced that, if elected, he will be a deputy with the courage to propose changes to the system.
“In addition to being persistent, stubborn, I am a man of faith, I believe that nothing is by chance. That’s why I accepted the challenge of being a candidate for state deputy. I see this as an excellent opportunity to shake up the system and present proposals for changes to the laws and the way many politicians see public money”.
Antídio Lunelli, after losing the party primaries to Udo Döhler, puts himself as an independent candidate who does not support Carlos Moisés for the government. With the support of Luiz Henrique’s wife, Ivete Appel da Silveira, Lunelli had Udo’s support to be the MDB candidate for state government.
But just before the party conventions, Döhler stopped supporting Lunelli and accepted to be the governor’s vice candidate in his re-election so that the MDB would support Moisés in 2022.
Chiodini, who is about to be reelected to the Federal Chamber, highlighted the work and achievements in Brasília. “I’m sure that, with Antídio in the Assembly, and us in the federal capital, the projects, the changes, will continue. This is our role, to transform people’s lives”.
