The dawn of this Saturday (3/9) was marked by a scare. Two cars collided head-on at Buraco do Tatu, in Plano Piloto. The accident happened around 3 am. A total of four people were in the vehicles. All were taken with injuries to the Hospital de Base de Brasília (HBB).
The cars involved were a silver Renault Clio and a white Peugeot. The Renault driver, 24, was the most worrying case. She was attached to the hardware, requiring the use of extrication equipment. After rescue, she was transported to the hospital with facial trauma and various injuries, unconscious and unstable.
The Clio passenger, 38, was conscious and already out of the vehicle when firefighters arrived. However, she was referred to medical care for complaining of pain. There was still no information about the status of women until the last update of this report.
The Peugeot was driven by a 40-year-old man. According to firefighters, he suffered bruises and broke one of his legs. The passenger was not of the informed age and also had a serious fracture in a lower limb and, like the driver of the silver car, she was trapped in the hardware. Both, however, were conscious and awake and were taken to the Base Hospital.
