A fire hit an area of forest in the Redonda Community, in the rural area of Areia Branca, in the Costa Branca Region of Rio Grande do Norte, between the afternoon and evening of Friday (3). the fire department managed to control the flames after about three hours (see video).
Despite the intensity and extent, the fire did not affect any homes or wind farms in the region. Nobody was hurt. The stretch reached is on the banks of the RN-404.
According to the authorities, this type of occurrence has been frequent in the last 15 days.

The orientation for the population is to avoid any type of fire that could cause a fire, especially in this period when the vegetation is dry, due to the arrival of the end of winter.
Another fire was recorded the day before, on Thursday (1st), on the banks of BR-427, in rural Caicó, in the Seridó Region. The fire reached an area of vegetation in the Barra da Espingarda community.
According to the Fire Department, the fire started around noon and was not completely controlled until after 11 pm. The causes of the fire have not been identified. The fire did not affect any houses and there were no injuries.
