Continuing the series of positive numbers that Sergipe has achieved in recent years, when it comes to starting a business, the month of August recorded an average time of 10 hours and 21 minutes, making it, once again, the first place in the ranking. of the Brazilian states and highlighted by the agility in the registration and opening of new commercial establishments. The data are made available monthly by the Federal Government’s Portal Redesim.
Comparing with the national average time, which is one day and five hours, Sergipe still has a difference of 19 hours. In addition, in 2022, 3,281 new companies were opened in the State, with a difference of more than a thousand positive companies in relation to the low ones. The cut for the month of August points to 413 companies opened in the month.
According to the president of the Commercial Board of Sergipe (Jucese), Marco Freitas, the State’s good performance at national level is the result of actions developed by the agency’s employees, through investments by the State Government, which enables a business environment increasingly favorable for the Sergipe entrepreneur.
“This is an extremely positive result for Sergipe. It is the first time that a Brazilian state has managed to open a company in less than 12 hours, since this average began to be measured, which was in January 2019″, informs Marco Freitas.
The manager also reinforces that “the results are due to the continuous plan to improve the business environment, with a focus on economic growth, employment and income generation. This is the main focus of the Board of Trade, opening companies, promoting the market, the business environment and increasingly improving the economic development of Sergipe, through the opening of new companies and reducing bureaucracy at all stages of starting a business”, says the president.
