The State of Bahia publishes, this Saturday (3), the public tender notice for the Technical Police Department (DPT), a unit subordinated to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP). The event will offer 456 higher education vacancies, 166 for criminal expert, 103 for medical examiner, 10 for dental-legal expert and 177 for technical expert. The publication can also be consulted on the Server Portal (www.portaldoservidor.ba.gov.br) and on www.idecan.org.br, the website of the event’s organizer, the Instituto de Desenvolvimento Educacional Cultural e Assistencial Nacional (Idecan).
This Friday (2), through social networks, Governor Rui Costa highlighted the investments made by the State in the area of public security. “We continue to work hard and invest in Public Safety with more technology and new professionals. In addition to the experts, we are carrying out tenders for the hiring of another 3,500 military police officers, civil police officers and military firefighters, by the end of this year”.
Applications must be made exclusively online, at www.idecan.org.br, between September 8 and October 10, observing the rules set out in the public notice. The fee varies according to the position sought: for the vacancies of criminal expert, medical examiner and dental-legal expert, the amount is R$ 160; registration for technical expert positions costs R$ 140. It is worth mentioning that an application by CPF will be considered valid, based on the veracity of the information provided and payment of the fee within the due date, observing Brasília time.
Candidates are required to have a higher education degree, with a diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), for the positions of criminal expert and technical expert – and, for the latter, it is still necessary to have a valid National Driver’s License (CNH), category “B”, minimum. For the positions of medical examiner and forensic expert, a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Dentistry, respectively, is required, in addition to a diploma recognized by the MEC. It is worth mentioning that the contest reserves 5% of vacancies for disabled candidates and 30% for those who declare themselves black, in accordance with current legislation.
Other information – The contest will be held in three stages. The first two, both of an eliminatory and qualifying nature, are scheduled for December 11 of this year, in the morning shift, and will be applied in Salvador. The objective tests will have 100 multiple-choice questions, covering general and specific knowledge. The discursive test will consist of a dissertation text. The third stage is the qualification test, which will be applied to those qualified in the second stage of the competition, as provided for in the public notice.
Due to the pandemic, for the purpose of preventing and controlling the spread of Covid-19, the application of the tests will follow health safety criteria. Failure to comply with these by the candidate will result in his/her removal from the test site and exclusion from the public tender. In this way, social distance, use of 70% alcohol gel and individual water consumption must be maintained, always in transparent material packaging, as well as the use of the mask and proof of the complete and updated vaccination schedule, as provided for in current legislation.
The careers are part of the Civil Police staff and will have a weekly workload of 40 hours, with remuneration in the amount of R$ 12,065.35 and R$ 4,873.18, depending on the position. After the final result and the approval of the event, candidates will be invited to carry out pre-admission exams (physical aptitude test, medical exams and psychological exams) and social research. Those considered suitable will be invited to attend a Civil Police Training Course. Vacancies will be filled according to the final classification and according to the interest of the public administration.
The contest will be valid for 1 year and may be extended only once, for the same period. For information, such as special service requirements, program content, assignment of positions and provisional schedule of activities, candidates should consult the call for applications.
