Mato Grosso has not recorded any deaths from covid-19 in the last 24 hours. In all, since the beginning of the pandemic, 15,222 people from Mato Grosso have lost the battle to the new coronavirus. In the same period, 241 people tested positive for the disease, reaching the mark of 834,006 confirmed cases. The information is from the Covid-19 Panel of the Secretary of State for Health (SES-MT), updated at 1:01 pm this Friday, September 2.

Regarding hospitalizations, 50 people are in Intensive Care Units (ICU). Of these, 35 are in beds agreed by the Unified Health System (SUS) and another 15 are in private hospitals.

Of the 90 beds agreed, 49 are available to receive new critically ill patients. The occupancy rate today is 39.33%.

Regarding the wards, the panel reports that of the 489 agreed by the SUS, 44 people were hospitalized, 14 of them in agreed beds and 30 are in private wards.
