Unimed Sul Capixaba bets on digital services to streamline customer service

Unimed Sul Capixaba has been intensifying its investment in digitalization to offer more convenience and ease to customers, consolidating its innovative role when it comes to health in the south of Espírito Santo.

After the virtual attendant Isa, an artificial intelligence that helps customers obtain information about the plan and procedures via WhatsApp, the cooperative encourages customers to use the Operator’s application to facilitate access to services.

As of September, the Unimed Sul Capixaba digital customer card will be the only card format, eliminating the need to send a physical card. The functionality is already an option that can be accessed by current customers through the Unimed Cliente app, available for Android and iOS. Customers who have a physical card within the validity period will be able to continue using it until the expiration date.

Offering the card exclusively through digital means, in addition to being innovative, is also in line with the sustainability present in Unimed’s values. The Hospital, opened in 2020, is now fully digital and does not require the use of paper.

With the virtual card, customers can receive assistance in medical offices, Unimed units and in the accredited network. The Unimed Cliente application also offers several online facilities and services, with information and financial management of the plan, such as scheduling appointments and exams, duplicate payment slips, updating registration data, co-participation extract, exam results, simulation of co-participation, income tax statement, authorization request and follow-up and medical guide.

Investments in digitization also extend to Unimed Sul Capixaba employees. Among the innovations aimed at optimizing the work environment, the cooperative is adopting the system for recording time using facial recognition, in which the employee has his point recorded when he approaches the tablet and the system reads it, recording the appointment. .

The feature is already in operation at Hospital Unimed, Hospital Materno-Infantil and the Operator’s building, and will soon be adopted for all employees. It is a more effective and reliable way that allows simple and secure appointments, reduction of errors, follow-up of registration via e-mail in up to 48 hours and paper reduction since the receipts are sent directly to the e-mail.
