An advisor to former president and candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and deputy Márcio Macedo (PT-SE) expelled an elderly man from one of the points visited by PT’s entourage last Wednesday (31), in Manaus. At the time, Lula was fulfilling campaign commitments when the old man started shouting “thief”. See the video above.

The man who was offended was in the region before the PT arrived. The advisor and the congressman went after the elderly man and were restrained by the former president’s own security guards.

The old man starts the protest as soon as the convoy cars approach. Then one of the aides gets out of the car and asks the man to stop yelling. However, he continues to call the former president a “thief”. The two members of the entourage then retaliate for the offenses. From there, hostilities increase, and the elderly man, who has not been identified, moves away. “Get out of here, you bum,” shouted the deputy.

The advisor and Macedo try to get closer, while the man leaves, still screaming, and are stopped by the security corps.

wanted by R7, deputy Márcio Macedo declined to comment. The PT said that “the man shouted what he wanted, aggressively, and heard what he didn’t want, and he was not attacked at any time. He is even approached with his hands behind his back. The videos show what happened: a verbal argument “.
