TV Anhanguera shows how the day of the candidates for the government of Tocantins was and will follow events scheduled for the campaigns.

This Wednesday (31), candidate Paulo Mourão (PT) visited the shop in Paraíso do Tocantins in the morning. Accompanied by militants, the PT candidate greeted shopkeepers, employees and people on the street. He spoke of the proposals of his government plan for this segment of the economy.

“The state has become agropastoral. We now need to add value to what we primarily produce and commerce is the great entrepreneurial force as well as the provision of services. We have to study a tax reform project that encourages the expansion of this job generation process, but we have to strengthen the economy, making family farming also boost the state in the production process”, said Mourão.

Candidate Ronaldo Dimas (PL) met in the campaign committee with political leaders from Araguaína and cities in the region. He presented a government plan for the areas of education, security, health and infrastructure. The candidate also promised to hold public tenders and increase the number of police officers.

“Seventy municipalities don’t have a policeman and we need to have a lot in all municipalities. How will we do this? With regular contests. The state has contested every ten years. Every year they retire 150, 200, so we have to replace these police officers and even increase this number to cover this deficit. So regular contests every two years, permanent academy and every year, we will call in addition to those who are going to retire, a number higher than this to reduce this deficit throughout our term”, said Dimas.

Reelection candidate Wanderlei Barbosa (Republicans) participated in meetings with political leaders in Palmas. Wanderlei promised investments in the health area, with the expansion of ICU beds in Miracema and Paraíso, and also to build a Women’s Hospital in the capital.

“We are also modifying the Hospital de Paraíso, expanding it, providing better conditions for the servers. We renovated several hospitals such as Arraias, Alvorada, improving the conditions of our hospitals, hiring qualified professionals so that they can serve our community well. But we will still do more, because the HGP alone has 33 thousand meters of built area. We are going to almost quadruple this number of visits, because we are modifying and expanding by another 28 thousand meters”, said Barbosa.
