It was at one of the most valued addresses in Ipanema, in the South Zone, that city hall agents found a “luxury pullover”. The irregular construction, erected in a commercial building in the Maria Quiteria Streetwas demolished this Wednesday (31) in an action by the Municipal Department of Public Order (Seop) and the Subprefecture of the South Zone.

With authorization to have only five floors, the building ended up gaining other two. According to the Subprefecture of the South Zone, the illegal work had already been embargoed and assessed by the Secretariat for Economic Development, Innovation and Simplification (SMDEIS). Even so, the owner decided to move forward with the constructions.
