Total success! The Pantanal Race closes registration after reaching the goal of 15,000 participants. The test, which is an initiative of TV Morena in partnership with the Social Service of Industry (SESI), of the Fiems System, was officially launched on August 15th. The street race is scheduled for October 9th, starting at 6:55 am.

Participants will be able to do a 5 km walk or challenge themselves in a 7 km or 15 km run. The departure and arrival point will be in the Pantanal Biopark. The routes go around the Parque das Nações Indígenas and enter the Parque dos Poderes, in one of the most wooded regions of the capital.

The competition has categories: PCD (people with disabilities) and wheelchair users, elite A and B, industry (for workers in the sector) and general.

To participate in the race, all those registered will receive a Kit, including a t-shirt, breast number, disposable timing chip and a bag. Kits will be picked up between October 7th and 8th, from 9 am to 9 pm, at Albano Franco, located at Avenida Mato Grosso, 5071, Carandá Bosque.

In addition, race participants will earn medals, and participate in special car and motorcycle raffles.

This year, the Pantanal Race will have Paralympic champion Yeltsin Jacques as its godfather.
