Former Minister of Agriculture, Tereza Cristina (PP), is handily leading the electoral race for the position of Senator of the Republic in Mato Grosso do Sul. Data from the poll produced by Ipec/TV Morena released this Wednesday (31) indicate that she has 38% of the votes declared, while the current runner-up, Judge Odilon (PSD), adds up to 18%.
The difference between the first two places is 20%, even greater than the total number of voters who said they did not know what they would vote for, which is 16%. This year, only one seat for the Federal Senate is at stake.
According to the information, 800 people were interviewed for the research between the 28th and 30th of August in 28 cities in the south of Mato Grosso. The margin of error is plus or minus three points. The confidence level is 95%.
The research is registered at the Regional Electoral Court of Mato Grosso do Sul under protocol Nº MS-06162/2022 and at the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under number BR-06213/2022.
