In the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, prices rose by R$3.00/bag, but business has not yet arrived, according to TF Agroecoómica. “Mato Grosso do Sul is going through a day without business, but with good price increases. This Wednesday brought the first significant movements of the week, but this did not happen in a particularly healthy way, since it comes especially from an increase in the nominal US exchange rate in relation to the Brazilian one, while the prices of products fall”, he comments.

“Still, soybeans sold in dollars at the cost of production factors in reais marks positivity for the exporter. .

In neighboring Mato Grosso, the market is still acting in a mixed way. “The latest data brought to this state with the values ​​that will be seen below and in the table to the side, this market was primarily negative, as the soy complex remains negative after the expansion of world stocks; even so, some positions mark highs in response to the dollar”, he indicates.

“Let’s go to the prices: Campo Verde at R$ 160.30, marking an increase of R$ 5.40/bag. Lucas do Rio Verde at R$ 157.60, marking an increase of R$ 0.80/bag. Nova Mutum at R$ 156.70 when it drops to 6.30/bag. Primavera do Leste at R$ 162.40 after a devaluation of R$ 3.60/bag. Rondonópolis, in turn, at R$ 166.50 after falling to R$ 2.00/bag. Sorriso, finally, at R$ 154.00, when it fell by R$ 8.50/bag”, concludes TF Agroecoómica, this Thursday morning, about the end of the month of August.
