Tayana Fernandes Fortunato, 31, from Santa Catarina, quit a steady job, 8 hours a day, six times a week, and traveled to Brazilian states in 2022. Graduated in executive secretariat, she rethought priorities during the pandemic of Covid-19took a massage therapy course, became a traveler and workplace has become the world.
Since May 2022, when she left Florianópolis for a trip with no return date and a script ready, Tayana has been volunteering and he divides his time getting to know the beaches of the Northeast of Brazil with working in hostels, which he exchanges for accommodation, and massages along the way..
In his spare time, he goes to the beach, meets new people and is in constant contact with nature. During an interview with g1 SCshe was leaving Itacaré for Praia da Engenhoca, in Bahia.
“With the pandemic, we had more time to think about our life, what we were doing with it. I had that time and I started to see that I was spending a lot of energy on what I didn’t like. changes and today everything has changed”, he says.

THE flexibility at work and rethinking her career is not unique to Tayana. Like the one from Santa Catarina, 620,242 people in Santa Catarina have resigned in the last 12 months until July. The state had the highest number of dismissal requests in the periodaccording to data from LCA Consultores, which uses data from the General Register of Employed and Unemployed (Caged).

In addition to Itacaré, the native of Florianópolis, from Santa Catarina, she has already visited Rio de Janeiro and Arraial d’Ajuda. In planning, the next destination is Salvador.
“I feel happy with this choice. This is making me get to know myself better, learn many things, exchange knowledge and also make an effort to get things done”, he adds.
