An Ipec poll released this Wednesday (31) and commissioned by TV Morena reveals that Tereza Cristina (PP) leads the voting intentions for the Senate, with 38%. This year, people from Mato Grosso do Sul elect only one senator.

Stimulated response from voting intentions for the Senate:

  • Teresa Cristina (PP): 38%
  • Judge Odilon (PSD): 18%
  • Mandetta (Union Brazil): 13%
  • Professor Tiago Botelho (PT): 4%
  • Jeferson Bezerra (Act): 2%
  • Anizio Tocchio (PSOL): 1%
  • White/null: 9%
  • Don’t know/didn’t answer: 16%

The survey heard 800 people between the 28th and 30th of August in 28 cities in the south of Mato Grosso. The margin of error is plus or minus three points. The confidence level is 95%. The research is registered at the Regional Electoral Court of Mato Grosso do Sul under protocol Nº MS-06162/2022 and at the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under number BR-06213/2022.
