With access to the 2023 Brazilian Championship Series C already guaranteed, Pouso Alegre Futebol Clube will now fight for the Series D title. House.

The first leg will be this Saturday (09/03), at 5 pm, at Manduzão, in Pouso Alegre. The return, which will define the finalist, will be on September 11, a Sunday, at 4 pm Brasília time – 3 pm local time – at the Carlos Zamith stadium, in Manaus (AM).

In the other semifinal, América-RN and São Bernardo-SP will face each other on Sunday (09/04), for the first leg, in Natal (RN), while the return will be on the 10th, Saturday, in São Bernardo do Campo (SP). All four semifinalists will be in next year’s Serie C.

Opponent: Amazon Campaigns

Like Pousão, Amazonas is also a debutant in the D Series of the Brazilian Championship and, right away, has already gained access. The trajectory began with the leadership of group 1, where they advanced with 31 points in 14 games, with nine victories.

In the second phase, the team eliminated Juventude-MA with the aggregate score of 2 to 1. In the round of 16, the victim was Lagarto-SE, eliminated by 3 to 2, also on aggregate. In the quarterfinals, Amazonas gained access after eliminating Portuguesa-RJ (4-3).

The team from Sul de Minas also advanced as leader, after winning 26 points in 14 games for group 6. In the first playoff, Dragão do Sul de Minas eliminated Operário de Várzea Grande-MT, by the score of 2 to 0 sum of the two matches.

In the round of 16, the team played two electrifying games against Paraná and advanced 2-1 on aggregate. Access came after two victories over ASA, in the quarterfinals: 2-0, away from home, and 1-0 at Manduzão, with 15,000 fans filling the stadium.
