Governor was received by representatives of trade in goods, services and tourism on Tuesday night (30)

Governor Ibaneis Rocha’s good work with the productive sector has yielded good results for the Federal District, which has led several businessmen and associations to announce support for the emedebista’s reelection. This is what happened on Tuesday night (30), at an event promoted by the sector at the Unique Palace, in the South Club Sector.

“We are meeting here with the productive sector and everyone has something to celebrate, some more, some less, but this makes me very happy. We want entrepreneurs to generate many jobs and be willing to invest money here in the DF”, said Ibaneis Rocha. “Entrepreneurs invest because they believe in our government and I want to see the DF increasingly at the forefront. It’s time for you to return that support by voting for 15 on October 2nd.”

In three years and eight months, Ibaneis Rocha adopted a series of measures in favor of the productive sector and the economy of the DF. Banco de Brasília (BRB) was one of the driving forces behind this economic field. Together, BRB’s Supera, Acredita and Avança DF programs handled R$12.3 billion in credits for 282,000 individual and corporate customers. Ibaneis management also provided R$26 million in microcredit to 1,700 microentrepreneurs (Prospera DF).

Support that also came in debt refinancing. In ten years, the Federal District will receive an amount of R$ 4.1 billion from the Refis I and Refis II programs. Other measures adopted were the reduction of ICMS for different categories and products, the end of Difal – which directly benefits small and medium-sized entrepreneurs – and the transfer of the Board of Trade to the DF.

The exemption, remission and installment of taxes were also mentioned at the meeting with the governor, as well as the support to the hotel and tourism sector and the creation of aids and benefits to different audiences.

President of Fecomércio-DF, José Aparecido da Costa Freire praised the management work. “Thank you very much for the receptivity and for everything that has been achieved in these three years and eight months”, he said.
