Teaching Work Promotion Fund opened a new call for R$18 million to finance projects in Bahia

The Secretariat of Labor, Employment, Income and Sport (Setre) announced this Friday (10) the opening of registrations for a public call for selection of projects prepared by Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to be financed by the Fund Promotion of Decent Work (Funtrad).

According to information from Setre, registrations can be made from this Friday (10th) until June 17th following instructions in the notice, available on the Setre website, in the Notices and Calls tab.

Notice nº005/2024 was published in the Official State Gazette this Thursday (09). This is the sixth Funtrad notice which, over the last ten years, has financed 82 projects with an investment of R$34 million, benefiting more than 41 thousand people in 20 territories within the state.


At least 30 proposals will be selected up to the maximum amount of Funtrad resources, which is R$18 million, observing the order of classification by lots of coverage and conditions described in the notice.

Each selected proposal may benefit from a maximum individual amount of up to R$600,000, according to the categories indicated. Projects must serve at least 100 beneficiaries and each CSO can only submit one proposal.

Proposals must be sent exclusively by post (posted or registered letter) or via Setre protocol (2ª Avenida Centro Administrativo da Bahia, 200 – Centro Administrativo da Bahia, Salvador – BA, 41745-003).

The final result of the project selection and approval is scheduled to be released on 10/01/2024.

Scope and Axes

The notice ‘Overcoming Vulnerabilities and Conquering Dignity through Decent Work’ is divided into 09 (nine) lots of coverage, by territories of identity, and will include the selection of proposals that contribute to the development of actions related to the nine axes of the Bahia Agenda of Decent Work (ABTD) and the purpose of the Bahia Decent Work Program.

The nine priority axes are: Eradication of Child Labor; Eradication of Slave Labor; Worker Health and Safety; Promotion of Equality for People with Disabilities; Promotion of Gender and Race Equality; Housework; Youth; Public Service and Green Jobs.

The schedule and other information must be checked in the notice. Requests for clarification of the notice and its annexes must be sent to the President of the Selection Committee by 05/14/2024, exclusively via the project committee’s email.
