Among the destinations in the next few days are the municipalities of Nova Mutum, Lucas do Rio Verde, Campo Novo do Parecis, Sapezal and Sorriso Passo Fundo. BIOTROP is a sponsor of the Rally for the first time and participates in the field teams

The Harvest Rally, an expedition that has been following the planting of soybeans and corn in the most important regions of the country for 20 years, will be in Nova Mutum, Lucas do Rio Verde, Campo Novo do Parecis, Sapezal and Sorriso Passo Fundo.

“The main objective of the Rally is to carry out a private technical survey of soybean and corn crops between the months of January and June – during the crop development and harvesting phase. In this sense, it is very important to monitor the moment of cultivation in the region in situ”, informs Rogério Rangel, marketing director at Biotrop, a leading company in biological solutions for agriculture and livestock.

Biotrop participates for the first time in the Safra Rally, an Agroconsult initiative.

“In addition to data collection visits, the Rally also opens up an excellent opportunity for Biotrop to have direct contact with farmers. Our purpose is to increasingly contribute to increasing productivity with the use of biological products – which have proven to be effective in adverse situations, such as water stress, which is having a major impact on current planting”, informs Rogério Rangel.

During visits, Rally da Safra technicians carry out qualitative and quantitative surveys by collecting samples, which will undergo counting, weighing and grain moisture measurement methodology, in addition to transgenic identification tests and soil coverage measurement.

“We are very excited about participating in this action that goes into the field to understand the reality of Brazilian farmers, evaluating their expectations and identifying trends for 2024.

Harvest after harvest, we have proven that the use of bioinputs helps the quality of planting, with effective returns for farmers”, adds Biotrop’s marketing director.
