Notice in Salvador
The expectations surrounding the public competition in Salvador, Bahia, were officially confirmed with the authorization published in the Official Gazette of the Municipality last Friday, the 3rd.
The approval granted includes a total of 679 vacancies distributed among different positions, with emphasis on:
- Pedagogical Coordinator: 60 vacancies
- Public Management Analyst: 26 vacancies
- Integrated Service Professional, Sanitarian, Health Control Inspector, Health Services Technician and Health Services Assistant: 593 vacancies
In addition to authorization to fill vacancies, the competition’s organizing committees were set up.
The designated members will be responsible for planning and executing the preparations for preparing the notice.
Bank and dates
Although there is still no defined schedule for publishing the notice and carrying out the tests, the dates are in the process of being defined in collaboration with the Institute for Educational, Cultural and National Assistance Development (Idecan), chosen to organize the event.
Idecan will be responsible for receiving applications for the competition and conducting the different stages of the selection process, including objective tests.
Initially, the number of vacancies foreseen for the Salvador City Council competition was 696 opportunities. However, official authorization confirmed the number of 679 vacancies.
The selection process will feature objective tests for all positions. Only for the position of Pedagogical Coordinator, in addition to the objective test, a discursive test, psychological assessment and title analysis will be carried out.

Bahia competitions open

The Municipal Council of Queimadas, located in the heart of the state of Bahia, has just announced an important update to its public competition, aimed at filling permanent vacancies.
The competition offers a total of 14 vacancies, in addition to reserve registration training, covering positions ranging from elementary to higher education.
Opportunities include positions such as driver, general service assistant, receptionist, administrative assistant, administrative agent and secretary.
Remuneration for the positions varies between R$1,412 and R$2,640, for a 30-hour work week, seeking to meet the needs and expectations of interested professionals.
The objective test will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions, covering topics such as Portuguese language, general knowledge and municipal legislation, mathematics and logical reasoning, in addition to specific knowledge related to each position.
How to sign up
Interested parties can register until May 12th. The process is entirely online, through IBEC websitewith rates ranging from R$43.50 to R$91.25, taking into account the position chosen by the candidate.
Vacancies extended in Bahia
Another contest is open. In this case, the vacancies were extended in the municipality.
Lafaiete Coutinho City Hall, in Bahia, has open registration for its public competition, which has been extended until May 9, 2024.
In this competition, there are 34 places available for people with different levels of education: elementary, secondary and higher education.
The vacancies are for different areas, such as teacher in various specialties, pedagogical coordinator, social worker, nurse, dentist, administrative agent, community health agent, among others.
Salaries range from R$1,412.00 to R$4,580.57, depending on the position and working hours, which can be 20 to 40 hours per week.

Interested parties can register until May 9th through the ICDS website, with fees ranging from R$60 to R$120.
