A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death while trying to break up a fight between two women during a party, in the Estrela do Sul neighborhood, in Campo Grande, in the early hours of this Sunday (28).
According to the police report, the young man was stabbed twice in the chest while trying to break up a fight between two guests at the party. Witnesses reported that the two women had started the argument out of jealousy.
The suspect responsible for inflicting the stab wounds was arrested in the act and taken to the Community Emergency Care Police Station (Depac) Cepol. The woman had been invited to the party by someone else.
In testimony, witnesses reported that everyone drank alcoholic beverages at the party. Upon seeing the two women fighting, the victim was stabbed and, shortly after, rescued and taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in the Coronel Antonino neighborhood.
The case was registered as “Homicide” at Depac Cepol. Investigations continue to try to discover the real reason for the death.
