The State Department of Education (Seduc-MT) presented the 10 Year Education Plan to Brazilian and South American educators, during Bett Brasil, held from April 23 to 26, at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo. This year’s central theme was “Innovation with purpose: Education in Dialogue with Social Transformations”.

To participate in the debates, panels, forums and lectures, conversation circles, in addition to a fair with an exhibition of technologies involving education, focused on educators and managers, Seduc sent the Pedagogical Management coordinators of the 14 Regional Education Directorates (DREs), in addition to the deputy secretary of Educational Management, Nadine Moreira, and the superintendent of Development, Application, Health and Safety, Jessica Campos.

In two panels at the event, Nadine Moreira showed the 10 Year EducAction Plan, which has the goal of placing Mato Grosso among the five best public education networks in the country by 2032. There are 30 policies monitored through the digital platform called Educational Management Panel .

The presentations also highlighted Seduc’s work axes: Educational impact, Equity and diversity, Technology and education, Professional Development, Management for Results and Infrastructure.

“It was opportune to show the country what the state education network has done to achieve excellence in teaching and learning. It was remarkable to see good practices with a vision of the future, in addition to being able to monitor and discuss the constant educational changes caused by innovations and, inevitably, by social transformations”, said Nadine.

The deputy secretary also said that Seduc’s participation in a national and international event on education and technologies shows how much the department has focused on training education professionals. “We reflected on several aspects, including a very current topic, which is the indispensability of integrating the management of public education policies”, she added.

Representing the DRE of the Cuiabá hub, the coordinator of Pedagogical Management, Diego Macedo, highlighted how important it was for Seduc to bring to the attention of educators across the country and Latin America the results of the 10 Year Education Plan.

“Seduc showed how it is committed to innovation. It was gratifying to see all of this and know that I am also part of this evolution process. Everything we saw here will contribute to strengthening the integrative and integrative practices of planning, implementing and evaluating the events in which public education policies unfold.”

The coordinator of Pedagogical Management at DRE at the Sinop hub, Suzana Fabrin, said that participating in Bett Brasil was an indescribable experience.

“It was a dream that came true. I thank Seduc for giving me this opportunity. Now, I will give back by passing on to my colleagues at my center everything I witnessed in these four days.”

Regarding technologies, she said she was satisfied, as they are already used in the state network. “A new feature that will please teachers, especially, is the use of artificial intelligence in lesson planning.”

The coordinator of Pedagogical Management at DRE at the Juína hub, Alex Valadão Toledo, highlighted that seeing Mato Grosso’s education in an international level context was a magnificent opportunity.

“I evaluated our constructions as a professional, individually and collectively, especially for indigenous education. I’m going to bring our entire team together to share what I experienced. We have already carried out many actions, however, this needs to be even more noticeable by everyone who is part of this process”, he concluded.
