The 21-year-old girl killed by blows from a wrench was identified as Daniela dos Santos. The crime of feminicide took place in the early hours of this Saturday (27), in the São Sebastião neighborhood, in Ponte Serrada, in the west of Santa Catarina.

According to information from the PM (Military Police), the main suspect for the crime is Daniela’s partner, a 32-year-old man. The suspect has not been located and security forces are searching.
According to the Civil Police, the crime took place between 3 am and 4 am, after the suspect left a bar with Daniela. Witnesses reportedly stated that she was a victim of domestic violence.
Before being killed with a wrench, a young woman had already been threatened
Daniela had already been threatened with death on Friday (26) through audios sent by her partner. On the same day, the young woman requested an urgent protective measure.
The wrench allegedly used in the crime was found on the table, in the kitchen, with traces of blood. Witnesses are being interviewed and the police continue to search for the suspect. The young woman leaves behind a young daughter.
