Sanepar informs that it broke a water distribution network in the Bairro Santa Felicidade region, in Curitiba, this Saturday (27). The rupture of the pipe affects supply in neighborhoods of the capital, Almirante Tamandaré and Campo Magro.
The affected regions in Curitiba are the neighborhoods: Cascatinha, Santa Felicidade, São João and Botiatuvinha.
In Almirante Tamandaré, the neighborhood that may experience shortages is Tanguá, and, in Campo Magro, the lack of water can be felt in regions of the Boa Vista neighborhood.
The teams are working on repairing the pipes and should be completed by 5pm. Supply should gradually return to normal from 10 pm onwards.
In situations like this, the recommendation is to use water, prioritizing food and personal hygiene. Do not waste!
Only customers who do not have a water tank in their property will be without water during this period, as recommended by ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards). Sanepar suggests that each property has a water tank of at least 500 liters. This way, it is possible to have water for at least 24 hours.
Sanepar Customer Service is available by calling 0800 200 0115. When calling, please have your water bill or your registration number ready.
