The Santa Catarina Military Fire Department (CBMSC) released this Tuesday, the 23rd, the official music video for Bombeiro Mirim’s song. The objective is to draw the attention of children and adolescents to the dangers that exist and how they can be prevented.

The song is an educational anthem that is part of the CBMSC Junior Firefighter Program and has lyrics that reflect the spirit of the program, emphasizing the slogan Educate to prevent, prevent to save, promoting self-care and self-analysis of dangerous situations.

The song, which uses clear, direct language appropriate to the target audience, has a cheerful melody to create a positive association with the lessons learned during classroom meetings, including the Emergency Center number. “If fear haunts you, just call 193”, says an excerpt.

According to CBMSC, in addition to being a teaching tool, the song acts as an element of unity and identity among program participants. “By singing together, students share a moment of collective learning and reinforce their commitment”, highlights the corporation.

The song was released alongside the official music video, which features the participation of the Program’s Mascots: Ice, Malu and Hunter, as well as military and community firefighters and children invited to participate in the recordings.

Junior Firefighter Program

It is aimed at children studying in the fourth year of primary education in public and private schools in Santa Catarina. The objective of the program is to train children and adolescents to act preventively in situations involving risk of accidents through the development of supplementary practices to the educational process, contributing to a safer society and promoting the full exercise of citizenship.

During the activities, carried out after school, subjects are covered about preventing domestic accidents, notions of first aid, fire and panic safety and natural disasters. In addition to learning, the participant receives a kit with activity materials, a t-shirt, a backpack, among other items.

The student participates in activities at school and at the fire station, and then graduates as a junior firefighter with the right to an event organized by the CBMSC after the knowledge trail, which lasts 12 hours.
