Last Thursday (28), the State Secretariat of Finance of Alagoas (Sefaz-AL) announced the payment of Citizen Tax Note (NFC) credits, benefiting thousands of consumers and social institutions in the state. According to official data, 106 institutions and 1,501 registered consumers received the requested amounts, totaling more than R$1.5 million in payments.

“It’s an important initiative that helps both social institutions and consumers. These resources make a difference in many lives,” said Maria Silva, representative of one of the benefiting institutions.

The NFC campaign, which already has more than 388 thousand registered consumers, aims to both reward draws and refund part of the Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS) to participants. “I’m very happy to have been included. This initiative encourages fiscal citizenship and promotes public engagement,” said José Santos, one of the consumers who benefited.

To guarantee receipt of the prizes, recipients must make the request within one year, thus avoiding prescription and loss of the amount won. It is recommended that participants regularly register on the campaign website and keep their contact information up to date.
