The Amazonian rock band Fuzzy will perform on the 10th at the Blues Festival IX edition, which takes place in the municipality of Tepequem – Roraima. The festival takes place on the Zé Pretim stage, during carnival, being a different option for the public who want to enjoy a different type of sound to that which is generally propagated during the block period.
The band Fuzzy is a Power trio, currently composed of musicians Frank Roosevelt (bass and vocals), Gustavo Kawati (guitar) and Augusto Nunes (drums and backing vocals). The project was designed by Frank Roosevelt, who invited musician Gustavo Kawati, with whom he had previously played in another band.
In the current lineup, Fuzzy has an original work, in 2019 they released their first EP “Uma dose de vento”, which is available on the digital streaming platform, Spotify. With influences from bands like DeepPurple, Alice in Chains, Black Sabath, Pearl Jam, Audioslave, Scorpions, Foo Fighters, Peter Frampton, and even national bands like Golpe de Estado, Titãs, Supla and Paralamas, the band avoids labels, hence came the inspiration for the name, Fuzzy. The work of the Amazonian group can be seen through their Spotify profile, “Fuzzyband”.
