This Friday, the 2nd, the Federal Highway Police (PRF) and the Public Services Regulatory Agency of the State of Acre (Ageac) signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT). The symbolic act took place during an event celebrating the 21st anniversary of the Regulatory Agency, in the capital of Acre.

The ACT aims to strengthen relations between the two bodies in effective supervision that will contribute to safety in intermunicipal transport in the state.

Last month, the PRF superintendent, Liége Vieira, and the president of Ageac, Luís Brandão, signed an agreement with the aim of developing actions and establishing technical and operational cooperation procedures with the exchange of information aimed at public and road safety in Acre .

The term was reinforced in the Ageac hall during that institution’s anniversary festivities. At the ceremony, in addition to the PRF and Ageac, several other representatives from state bodies were present.

“We are going to symbolically sign the technical cooperation agreement in which we carry out the inspections both to reinforce the legalization and good performance of the public service as well as the issue of databases, as we are interested in road safety and the fight against crime” , reported Liége Vieira.
