Damaged wooden bridge is demolished on BR-319


Manaus/AM – The National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) demolished, this Friday (2), a wooden bridge under the Manicoré River, located at KM 341 of BR-319, in Amazonas. A new bridge was built in the locality.

The bridge connects BR-319 and AM-364. The municipality replaced the sliding material, the wheel guards, the guardrails and the transverse beams.

Last Saturday (27), Dnit also started work on the structure of the new bridge over the Curuçá River, at KM 23.1 of BR-319, which collapsed in September 2022 and left 10 injured and five dead.
