Club wants to improve in finishing moves
ASA debuted in the 2024 Copa Alagoas by beating Dimensão Saúde, 1-0, on Thursday afternoon (1), playing in São Miguel dos Campos, at the Ferreirão stadium. Despite the victory, the black and white team left something to be desired in the offensive part, with many errors in finishing.
“What is bothering me a lot is the number of chances created and not completed. It was a game to be calmer in the final stretch, even to test another player. The game ended up being tight and we couldn’t do these tests. We will continue working, I will insist on the squad to improve every day in terms of finishing,” said coach Leandro Sena, at the press conference after the game.
Sunday (4), ASA hosts CRB, which is using the under-20 team in the Copa Alagoas. The match will be at 5pm, at the Coaracy da Mata Fonseca stadium, in Arapiraca, behind closed doors.
The squad performed again this Friday afternoon (2), at the Noel Alves Training Center. On Saturday (3) morning, Leandro Sena leads another activity and then begins concentration for the game against CRB.
