Educators at the State Education Network now have a valuable resource to improve the learning experience in the classroom. The State Department of Education of Minas Gerais (SEE/MG) launched the Mapa 2024 Notebooks, designed to assist teachers during the ongoing educational process.

The Map Notebooks consist of teaching materials that offer suggestions for teaching sequences aligned to the skills of the Minas Gerais Reference Curriculum (CRMG). Developed based on the skills programmed for each two-month period, according to the course plan, these notebooks are made available regularly for all school levels in Basic Education.

The primary objective of these resources is to provide support to teachers in the state education network, assisting them in planning and executing classes, which, in turn, contributes to improving the quality of education offered to students.

The Pedagogical Learning Support Material (MAPA) was designed by the SEE/MG School of Training and Professional Development of Educators and comprises a series of elements, including the Minas Gerais Reference Curriculum, the Course Plan, the Map Notebooks, the Jornal Lupa, Se Liga na Educação and the Teacher’s Lesson Plan.

Janeth Cilene Betônico da Silva, director of the Teaching Coordination of the Training School, highlights the importance of this material for the work of teachers in the classroom.

“The Map Notebooks were created with the specific objective of enriching the teacher’s work. We mainly seek to promote the development of skills outlined by BNCC and CRMG. This material was designed to align with teaching practice and guarantee our students’ right to learning”, highlights the director.
