The concessionaire VINCI Airports informs that Salvador Bahia Airport is preparing to make the experience of passengers who will disembark in the Bahian capital for this year’s Carnival even more welcoming, with a series of actions developed to welcome tourists who will pass through the equipment facilities before enjoy the party circuits.
On Tuesday, the 6th, before the official start of the festivities, Pipoca do Aero takes place. On that occasion, a mini trio will rock the passenger terminal from 1:30 pm. The festivities will be attended by employees and the airport community at Salvador Bahia Airport.
So that passengers can record the excitement of disembarking in one of Brazil’s main carnival destinations, a photo totem will be made available on the 8th and 9th of February. During the same period, visitors will also be able to apply tattoos to get into the party mood.
Also in order to better welcome passengers, the Tourism Secretariat of the Government of the State of Bahia (SETUR) should promote an action with typically dressed Bahian women, a mini trio and a percussive musical group – among other artistic attractions – in the national arrivals area.
Collection of Abadás and Tickets
To better serve the expected public, as has been the case for some years, revelers will have the option to collect abadás and tickets for boxes immediately after landing. “Folia Bahia”, “Central do Carnaval”, “Camarote Salvador” and “Quero Abadá” will have stands installed at the airport.
However, the dealership emphasizes that only customers who selected the location as a pickup option at the time of purchase will be entitled to this convenience. Finally, it is worth highlighting that some of the stores mentioned above will also offer customization services for abadás.
