The Federal Highway Police (PRF) arrested 50 fugitives from justice, who had outstanding arrest warrants pending compliance, in 2023.

This number represents an increase of 72% compared to the year 2022, as reported by the PRF this Friday, 2.

Highlights include fugitives from Justice convicted of Homicide (6), Drug Trafficking (6), Robbery/Theft (4), Rape (4) and Alimony (29). Arrests for Failure to Comply with a Judicial Measure (semi-open rules) increased by 12%, with 19 detained and taken to the Criminal Police Capture Division (DICAP). In 2023, the PRF in Roraima arrested a total of 540 people, for various crimes.

“The greater and better access to the National Bank of Arrest Warrants is the result of a partnership established between the Court of Justice of Roraima (TJRR) and the PRF, allowing more assertive consultations with the BNMP and PROJUDI systems”, informed the agency.
