Enter. BA-120 – Districts of Caldeirão de Areia / Lagoa das Pedras / Riacho da Onça, in Monte Santo: The volume of rain in the region, aggravated by the collapse of dams before the highway, caused the rupture of a segment of the Access to the town of Caldeirão de Areia and the invasion of the track in a segment of the Access to Riacho da Onça, both in the municipality of Monte Holy. The company responsible for building the access was called to signal and close the section. A diversion is also underway to allow vehicles to pass through to access the villages.
Muquém do São Francisco – Ent. BA- 161 – Boa Vista do Pixaim: The heavy rains that fell in the region in recent days caused the water level to rise in one of the tributaries of the São Francisco River, invading the Access Highway to the District of Boa Vista do Pixaim (Muquém do São Francisco) and closing two points: at the Muquém access to the BA-161 highway and at the crossing over the Riacho Alegre, places where two bridges will be built (projects being developed by Seinfra). We observed that the municipality’s main access to BR-242 has normal traffic via the BA-172 highway. As the access paving work was in progress, the company was called to resolve the situation.
In the municipality of Muquém do São Francisco, the water level rose and there was flooding in the city center. The company responsible for maintaining the UOP in the region was called and is creating a natural ditch with a hydraulic excavator to drain water from the city’s main flooding.
Ent. BA-210 – Povoado de Correnteza (Sobradinho): The large volume of rain in Sobradinho raised the water level, causing it to cross over a wet passage located over the Riacho do Tatauí. There was also a break in the embankment at km 2.5, causing traffic interruption. There is no isolation of the Correnteza district, but a detour through the Barrinha community section where the bridge over the Riacho do Tatauí, recently built by Seinfra, is used, giving access to the BA-210.
