The City of Caxias (MA), through the Municipal Security Secretariat, is expanding the Municipal Guard’s video monitoring system, to further collaborate with the Caxias (MA) Security System. The System will grow by more than 100%. Until then, there were 32 cameras, 50 more were installed and in the next few days more than 100 cameras will be in operation on the streets and avenues of Caxias.
The municipal management highlights that in addition to common cameras, facial recognition and license plate cameras will be implemented, giving an even greater boost to vehicle identification work to help with police investigations for the benefit of the population of Caxias.
The commander of the Municipal Guard, Willian Carvalho, in an interview with the Contra Ponto Program on Rádio Nordeste FM, highlighted the importance of implementing the System, with the most current technology on the market to favor the Municipal Security System.
“The concern of the mayor of Caxias, Fábio Gentil, was to monitor the city’s entrances and exits, at all entrances we will have license plate recognition. More than 50 cameras have already been installed, the team is working to reach this goal of around 100 cameras. Everything is being renovated, all the best on the market”explains Willian Carvalho, commander of the Municipal Guard of Caxias (MA).
