A man was found by military police after being captured by robbers in the Santa Bárbara sector, in Palmas. He was located in a wooded area on TO-050, where he claimed to have been attacked and held hostage. The victim told the police that his truck had been taken by the criminals and that they tried to make Pix, but did not find any money in the account.
The case was registered this Thursday (1st). The police reported that teams went to the location following complaints and found the victim, who said he had been taken over by two men at a gas station in the south of the capital. The man also said that the suspects had fled towards Porto Nacional.
The victim also informed the police that while he was being held hostage, the criminals tried to get him to give money or make bank transfers via Pix. When he said he had no money, he was allegedly hit in the face by the suspects.
During searches in the region, police found the truck taken, but no suspects were arrested. The PM reported that the victim was taken to the police station to file a police report.
