Unconditional Freedom Block brings together Pernambuco lawyers


Event organized by OAB/PE in partnership with CAAPE filled the Catamaran, with tickets sold out

The Brazilian Bar Association – Pernambuco Section (OAB/PE) promoted, on the night of this Thursday (1), its traditional Carnival preview, the Unconditional Freedom block, held in partnership with the PE Lawyers’ Assistance Box ( CAAPE). President Fernando Ribeiro and vice-president Ingrid Zanella welcomed the entire legal profession from Pernambuco, which was present, filling the Catamaran, with tickets sold out.

Many well-known names attended the event. Pablo Bismack, Augusto Lócio, Diana Câmara, Manoela Alves, Ronnie Duarte, among others. In fact, the opposition candidate, Almir Reis, also attended the party, arriving accompanied by family, friends and supporters.

Fernando and Ingrid made a point of speaking at the party. Much acclaimed by those present, the president and vice-president highlighted the campaigns defended during the 17th year of the event, against harassment (No é No) and against racism (#OABPEantirracista).

The approximately one thousand revelers enjoyed the night with lots of frevo, axé and samba. DJ Mau Lopes, Faringes da Paixão, Pitombeira dos Quatro Cantos and Sambadeiras kept the party going until the early hours of this Friday (2).
